[glow=yellow,2,300]quick and delicious[/glow] I like to make this at home; its quick and easy folks; I use red and green peppers, but you can use your favorite ones too. I usually use about 4 large peppers; two green and two red. I cut them in half - and take out all the seeds, and clean them well. It doesn't matter that one half will have the hole from taking out the stem - I still use it like it doesn't have a hole at all. In a bowl I mix one pound fresh ground beef Add one or two eggs Add flavored bread crumbs Add 1/2 cup of raisins (my favorite) Add 1/4 cup of honey Add about 3 tbsp minced oinions Mix well Place the pepper halves in a large baking dish - then take the stuffing and place in the peppers. Then I drizzle some honey on top of all of them - Bake in a preheated oven at 350 until well done. I usually cook them for an hour and 10 minutes, uncovered. I like mine well done. I like to serve it with a side dish of fresh baked potatoes that I also bake at the same time with the peppers. I dice the potatoes up into small cubes with chopped oinions and butter, covered with foil. Or you can just make a quick tossed salad with fresh cut pieces of cantalope, raisins and cherry tomatoes. Sprinkled with cheese. Can you tell I like a lot of different flavors?!! Enjoy! love, dee
