Brothers and sisters,
We've heard that old expression of "lets throw caution to the wind". But what about throwing our faith and trust in the Lord to the wind? Why cant we do that with our faith in the will of God? Let the chips so to speak fall where they may!
Trust is not complete unless it is fulfilled by being doubt and worry free.
What does God say...
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Point to ponder...
I don't know about you, but those 4 words "with all thine heart" jump out at me as being the operative part of that instructional scripture. It does not say with ten percent of your heart, or half of your heart or one third of your heart etc. It clearly states "with all thine heart". That means 100%. And when something is filled with 100% of anything, it doesn't leave any more room for anything else. Not even doubt or worry, hatred or anger etc.
Application part....
1. We need to not allow what others are doing in our life, exchange any part of our 100% of our faith in God's will for us with emotions that belong to those who follow satan. Those who are of this world and not God's future that He has planned for us.
2. This includes doubt, worry, fear, anger, hatred etc.
3. When we add those emotions to our faith, it is no different as if we took the purest of drinking water and slowly added tiny bits of mud and dirt, that will very quickly pollute what was once pure and considered righteous, that being our faith in His ability and will for us in our life. Thus separating us from Gods' mercy.
4. Those negative emotions immediately separate us from our blessings, from the grace and mercy of God.
5. Those things separate us from God's will, exactly the same way sin separates us from God Himself.
6. We must join together in prayer, lifting up one another to the Lord for unity in Jesus.
7. For together, we create a wall that nothing negative will be able to penetrate. That is what faith can do. Our joined faith as one.
8. Lets build that wall together!
Let us pray....
Father,
You are our fortress or shelter. You are our source of strength and hope. When two or more come together in the name of Your son Jesus, You promise us that You shall be there with us in life. Here we are Father God.
Our families are facing the forces of nature. Some of us have lost loved ones, and others have lost relationships with their own families. Some of us have lost jobs, health, sight, and self esteem. While others await their fate.
But through all of these trials of life, what we will not loose is our faith in Your will for our lives. For You are the core, the center, the foundation, the beginning and the end of who we are as Born Again Christians. We were created in Your image. the image of the most High.
Father, I ask that you fill my heart with the same steadfast faith one fellow sister in Christ Mrs Mitchell had all those years she spent in total darkness. And even though she lost her eye sight and then began to loose her hearing followed by her independence, every day in that silence and darkness, she continued to praise and thank you without fail; up until the day this past Monday when you called her home. She now has her sight and hearing back, and stands in the everlasting presence of the glory of Your son Jesus.
Father, this prayer we lift up to You, this we praise You for, and this we give You all the glory. In Jesus precious name. Amen!
God bless you always
Carol
2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
