Brothers and sisters,
At some point in our day or our life we will be faced with some really hard experiences. One of the toughest things to achieve, next to getting through the actual stressful event that you may be experiencing right now, is the ability to see that in the end, there is a blessing from God awaiting you before your day comes to a close. One of my dear friends, Dixie, reminded me of that today. Thanks Dixie!
What Does God say...
2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Point to ponder....
All bad experiences that we may have to endure, no matter what they might be, can be turned around as a blessing if only we seek the face of the Lord, praising Him and thanking Him for all we experience in life.
We may see the things in our life as quite important, but many of those things aren't as important to God as His plan in life for us.
Luke 12:30-31 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Today I seriously damaged the paint on my new VW Beetle, and it seems to me to be the worst thing I could imagine. I finally got the car I always wanted, only to scrape a large portion of the paint off of my bumper.
Well, after calming down which I know was the result of one of my friends praying for God to cover me in His peace, (Thank you Mary) I realized that they still make that lime green paint for that car, and I know that my husband Randy is very good at repairing it for me. So this is only a minor set back in my day. It could have been much worse. But by the grace and mercy of God, it wasn't.
And at the end of my day, I know my car still runs great, the sun will give me the prettiest sunset it has to offer me, I still have my health, my friends, family and above all... I still have my savior Jesus, and there is no doubt in my mind that I am very blessed.
For as children of God, we are all blessed! Even if we scratch our cars, loose our house to a fire or bad storm, don't have the money to pay a bill, Lost a job, or even through our loss of a friend or a loved one. No matter what the trial may be in our life, we are blessed.
Psalms 115:15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
Proverbs 8:32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
Application part...
1. Even the very things that we work hard to have and to keep in life, are only on loan to us, and will be gone after we are, when Jesus takes us home.
2. Nothing here on earth can compare to the riches God has awaiting us in His kingdom.
Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
3. Try to separate yourself emotionally from earthly things as being more important to you, than what your future holds with the Lord in His kingdom.
4. Know that nothing here on earth can compare to the picture God paints for us as to how breathtakingly beautiful the kingdom of God is.
Revelation 21:21-27 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
5. And we must not forget about this promise given to us by God.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
6. Now that's worth all the suffering here on earth, we we are able to finally receive it when we join our Savior Jesus, isn't it?
Let us pray....
Father,
I know that there are times when if put things in my life before you without my realizing that I am doing that. I not only want to keep you first, but I need to keep you first in my life. I need to stay focused upon You and just know that no matter what is going on in my life or around me, that You are in total and complete control. And it is through knowing that, it is where I can find peace and the tranquility I seek throughout my day, every day. I praise and thank You for always being there at my side, never leaving me alone in life. In Jesus precious name I thank You. Amen!
God bless you always.

1 Corinthians 6:16-18 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Thanks sis!!
